Out initial costume idea for Robyn is very casual, we do not want her to be categorised as massively eccentric or too out there so that our target audience can not relate to her.
I went for very subtle colours such as blues and washed out pink which will make Robyn seem down to earth and relatable to the audience.
We will give her natural make up to make sure that she does not come across too 'fake', but at the same time we want to show her confidence and wearing makeup can promote that (however, not too much).
From the beginning Kirsty and I have had an idea of giving Robyn a signature item of clothing that the audience can identify and associate with her without actually seeing her. We felt that this idea could be utilised some how when it come to our digipak and tour poster.
As I do not have these exact clothes we will try and get the costume as close as possible with Robyns own clothes.
