I am really happy with our audition process that we have gone through. Last year I felt that we had to rush process and we unable to properly make a really informed decision about our actors due to the lack of people willing to act in such a cold environment. However, this year we had a very big group of people auditioning and were able to take our time in deciding who to cast.

On to who we finally decided to cast, we auditioned a group of boys and found that my friend Arthur would be the best for the love interest and that Robyn would be the best option for the artist as we generally based the artist off of her. But, when it came to the children we did not have a choice in who we can choose. We have a very short time window to film and a lack of child relatives so we have decided to use my younger brother Finlay and my cousin Isabel who happened to look very much like the older actors we have cast (whatever looks different I believe is not a problem as we can alter in post-production).

Overall I have rather enjoyed the audition progress this year compared to last year and also feel that we have been able to choose some really effective actors to perform in our music video.
